A beer from Paul the Glasgow roofer

I arrived in Woking tired, sweaty and in need of a beer. And then I bumped into Paul from Glasgow.

It was only 28kms of cycling, not a massive distance, but I’m an inexperienced pilot on a fully-loaded trike and there were plenty of hills. I was visibly drained.

Tony fixes the bike

27th October 2018 and Welford in Leicestershire, UK, is the first destination, on the first day of my first ever cycle-touring adventure. It’s only about ten miles from my departure point in Lutterworth, but it’s an important milestone – the adventure is underway!

Departure from Lutterworth
